Fix "file too large" errors on government portals
Tax, visa and benefits portals often limit attachment sizes and file types. Krisox shrinks the file inside the portal's own upload form, and converts it when the portal only accepts certain formats.
How to do it
- Install Krisox and open the portal's upload page.
- Attach your document as usual.
- Krisox shows how small each level makes it. Choose one under the portal's limit.
- Click "Upload compressed".
Good to know
If the portal only accepts PDF or JPG, formats it would reject are disabled, and files are converted automatically where needed.
Signed PDFs and password-protected PDFs are never changed, so signatures stay valid.
