Compress PDFs for Canvas assignment uploads
Scanned homework and phone photos of handwritten pages make large files. Krisox compresses them as you submit, inside the Canvas upload form.
How to do it
- Install Krisox and open the assignment.
- Attach your file as usual.
- Choose a compression level. Each one shows its exact resulting size, so you can pick the smallest that still reads well.
- Click "Upload compressed".
Good to know
If the upload field only accepts PDFs and you attach a photo, Krisox converts it to a PDF automatically and labels it "Auto-converted to match site requirements".
Everything happens in your browser. Your coursework is not sent to Krisox.
