JPG to PDF converter

Convert JPG to PDF in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.

About this tool

Official and academic forms often accept only PDF, but what you have is a photo of a document or an ID. Turn the JPG into a PDF here, in your browser, without uploading it to a converter site.

JPG and PDF

  • JPG: lossy, made for photos, no transparency, accepted almost everywhere.
  • PDF: a document format, often the only one official and academic forms accept.

What changes when you convert

  • One page per image, with the image's own proportions and no margins.
  • The photo stays a JPG inside the PDF, compressed at the level you choose.
  • The PDF contains a picture of the text, not text you can select.

When to convert JPG to PDF

  • A form only accepts PDF.
  • You photographed a document and need to submit it as one.

Private by design

Converter websites upload your file to their servers to do this. With this tool the conversion happens in your browser: the file is never uploaded, to us or anyone else, and location data (EXIF) is removed from photos along the way.

Converting because a website only accepts PDF? Krisox Extension Pro does it for you in the upload form itself, as you upload.

Without this tool

  • Chrome: drag the JPG into a tab, press Ctrl+P (Cmd+P on a Mac) and choose "Save as PDF".
  • Mac: open the JPG in Preview and choose File → Export as PDF.
  • Windows: print the photo and choose "Microsoft Print to PDF".

Questions

Can I put several photos in one PDF?

This tool makes one PDF per image. On a Mac, open them together in Preview and export as one PDF; on Windows, print them together to "Microsoft Print to PDF".

Is a photo of an ID safe to convert here?

It never leaves your browser. That is exactly the kind of file worth not uploading to a converter.
