Compress JPG photos without uploading them anywhere

Phone photos are often several megabytes each. Krisox re-encodes them at the size you choose, inside the tab, before the website receives them.

How to do it

  1. Choose your photos in any upload form.
  2. Pick a level: Recommended limits photos to 2560 px and keeps them sharp on screen.
  3. Click "Upload compressed", or the download icon to keep a copy.

Good to know

Re-encoded photos lose their EXIF data, including GPS location.

Photos are rotated correctly before the EXIF data is removed.

Krisox is a browser extension for Chrome. Compressing one file at a time is free; converting formats and compressing several files at once are part of Krisox Pro.
